Using SkyWatch with Claude

The SkyWatch connector for Claude lets pilots get renters aviation insurance quotes without leaving their Claude conversation.

Renters insurance, also known as non-owned aircraft insurance, can provide Liability and Aircraft Physical Damage coverage when you fly an aircraft you don't own.

With the SkyWatch connector, Claude can collect the information needed for a quote, retrieve available coverage options and pricing, and help you continue to SkyWatch when you're ready to purchase.

Connect SkyWatch to Claude

1. In Claude, open the Connectors Directory.
2. Search for SkyWatch.
3. Select SkyWatch and click Connect.

You don't need a SkyWatch account to get started. Once connected, just ask Claude for a renters aviation insurance quote.

Get a quote

Start a conversation with a request like:

"Get me a renters insurance quote. I'm a private pilot born YYYY-MM-DD, flying single-engine land aircraft for personal use."

Claude will use the SkyWatch connector and ask for any additional information needed to generate your quote.

Information you'll need

• Date of birth
• Pilot certificate: Student, Recreational, Sport, Private, Commercial, or ATP
• Coverage type: Personal or CFI. CFI coverage adds coverage for eligible flight instruction activities.
• Aircraft type: Single-engine land, single-engine sea, multi-engine land, or rotorcraft

Share your flying experience (optional)

Additional details can help SkyWatch determine which coverage options are available to you:

• Total flight hours
• Flight hours by aircraft category
• Recent flight experience
• Pilot ratings and endorsements

Set your coverage preferences (optional)

• Liability limits
• Aircraft damage coverage
• Medical payments coverage
• Deductible reimbursement limits

You can share all of this naturally in conversation. There's no form to fill out before asking for a quote.

Review your options

Once SkyWatch generates your quote, Claude shows the available coverage and pricing. Depending on eligibility and selected coverage, options may include:

• Daily coverage
• Weekly coverage
• Monthly coverage
• Annual coverage

You can also review the coverage breakdown, including liability and aircraft damage limits, and compare durations and limits side by side in your conversation.

Continue to SkyWatch and purchase

When you find an option that works for you, click Proceed to Quote. You'll be securely redirected to SkyWatch to review your quote and complete your application.

Before purchase, SkyWatch confirms final eligibility, coverage details, any applicable state requirements or surcharges, and your final premium.
